HOW IT ALL BEGAN
At Critical Grid Agility (CGA), we're building the onsite infrastructure platform that lets data centers generate their own power, capture and manage their own water, and store energy safely over the long term — a generation mix, not a single point of failure, that keeps critical operations running independent of the grid and the local water utility.
Long-duration storage is where CGA started, and it's still core to how the platform works. Our solid-state electrostatic storage technology is a non-lithium alternative, engineered to eliminate the risks of thermal runaway that come with traditional lithium-ion systems [— name the specific pilot, deployment, or certification here rather than "already tested and deployed," so the claim has something concrete under it]. It supports everything from stabilizing power in remote, grid-constrained areas to meeting the always-on demands of urban data centers.
That focus on storage came first, but the constraint we built around has only gotten sharper. The industry's own capital-spending numbers confirm it: hyperscalers are on pace to spend more on physical infrastructure this year than most national budgets, and a growing share of that money is chasing power the grid can't deliver fast enough. We saw that gap before it became a headline. Our commitment is to deliver accessible, dependable, and safe power, water, and storage solutions that keep the world's data infrastructure running — independent of a queue we don't control.
